Through the Family and Faith program, parents – as the first educators of their children – are invited into a deeper and more intimate relationship with the person of Jesus Christ.
At St Michael’s Catholic Primary School Daceyville, we welcome and encourage our families to be part of the faith development of their children. We find that children achieve more from their spiritual and social development when their families are involved. We support our parents in their faith journey through prayer, excursions, outreach and social justice initiatives, and regular communication in newsletters. As a Catholic school community, we invite families to regularly attend school and parish liturgies and masses. Throughout the year, parents are encouraged to participate in their child’s sacramental programs by making a special gift for their child and participating in parent information sessions.
